yeah D.E. tour seems like a good time to see them, but i thought they were fuckin great last year
nailed every song, only problem was the venue & their reluctance to bring the volume above a certain level
kinda did a number on the energy to & from the crowd, more often than not

Wish they played more SNW songs live though, it's like they completely forget SNW (and sometimes even the S/T) exists when they make their setlists.

They don't even play Hole In The Earth?

Rarely. Occassionally they'll pull out Hole, Beware, or Cherry Waves but that would be a treat.

According to setlist.com they seem to just pull out SNW songs at random ever since they released Diamond Eyes.

They played quite a bit from S/T when I saw them: Hexagram, Minerva, Bloody Cape.

They did Passenger with Greg from Dillinger as a closer. Forgot about that.

When I saw them they didn't play anything from SNW or S/T, then again they only played for like 45min-1h. They played Entombed though which was amazing.

Entombed would be great to see live.

That "Passenger" performance must've been awesome.

I'm sure it was but for some reason I had forgotten about it until I looked up the setlist. I do remember DEP opening for them and it being incredible.

Can't wait to see them in June. Had tickets for their Wembley show which they cancelled due to the Paris attacks. Hope Gore is good because I feel they'll play a lot of it!

They played in front of a giant screen and had scenes from "Night on Bald Mountain" behind them during their performance of Knife Party.
That moment has always stuck with me.

I remember being really wasted with a friend of mine at Download festival on a completely cloudless sunny day laying down on the grass staring at the sky when they started playing Minerva. It was spiritual.

When i saw them on the KNY tour they were amazing. They sadly only played 1 song from SNW but it was one of the best performances I've ever seen live. The lights dimmed and Chino slowly walked up to the mic and muttered "This ones for Chi" before he started playing "Rivière". It was breathtaking and sadly not long after that show Chi passed away.

yeah they played nothing from SNW when i saw 'em, 1 song from s/t (girls telephone boys!) but like fuckin 3 songs from Adrenaline
kinda cool i guess, but sort of strange that they're going that far back that often - even KNY only got i think like 1 or 2 tracks played from it
i doubt that's any indication of the new album's sound tho considering Steph's recent comments in that interview

Yeah they really loved playing ATF and Adrenaline material when I saw them. I really wish I could of seen them play Hexagram live, even though I feel like that is a tune that Chino might not even be able to play anymore.
What was up with that Steph interview???? I was pretty disappointed with his comments about no one really wanting to create something heavier.

When I saw them they played only one track from White Pony (Change) and four tracks from this album. I'd feel pretty unsatisfied if I went to a Deftones concert and they didn't play either Engine no. 9, 7 Words, Root, or Headup though. Those songs have way too much energy to not be played.

The new single is pretty rad, but nothing all that amazing.
Hoping for an Eros release after this one. Still can't get enough of "Smile".
