I would probably put Cherry Waves, Xerces and Kimdracula in the top 10 and Hole in the Earth, Beware and Rats could be top 20 as well. I like all Deftones though tbh I just like this the more.

That's a bit silly, it's not like it's offensively bad even if your not into it. It's got cool melodies, a neat break, and the ending monologue is pretty hilarious.

I think it's the "hilarity" (subjective) of the song that honestly kills it. People don't usually spin the album for laughs. They get all the SNW feels from songs like Beware & Cherry Waves & Xerxes (and others I'm sure), and then that monologue comes on; and people get frustrated cuz it ruins the vibe they were sporting.



Regardless. The chorus in Pink Cellphone's pretty dope. I just listen to it and skip forward once the monologue hits.

"Combat" and "Rats!" suck please don't kid yourself. Chino almost tries to be obnoxious on Combat. Definitive heavy Deftones are songs "Hexagrams", "Headup" and "Royal".
