Greg vocals just do not work at all with ETID style riffing and his lyrics are embarrassing. Better Lovers was really meh because of those two factors. I prefer Many Eyes due to Keiths vocals and lyrics (normally lyrics do not weigh much to me at all but Keith's always been a favorite of mine). However, Many Eyes songwriting isn't as strong. It's funny how it showcases they need to be together to be perfectly in sync lol

It feels like better lovers are trying to be something and aren't quite there yet. On the other hand, I hear absolutely no creative vision other than being watered down ETID when I listen to many eyes, which is ironic considering their name.

Can’t get into Greg’s vocals at all. His harsh sound like a wailing banshee and his cleans are a hybrid of cleans/screeching plus always some loudspeaker megaphone effect. Not for me

Many Eyes sounds uninspired as fuck, and I don't think I'd give the two singles another listen if it wasn't for Keith. Even then, I basically forget about them instantly. Hoping a full length release changes my mind though
