'Deftones never struck me as a darker band though'

Really? I find most of their music really dark, in a good way. Maybe it's because I don't listen to much nu/alternative metal.

They're dark in a realistic lyrical way not in a 'worship the devil, murder your family and sacrifice a virgin' way.

Yeah I love Entombed man, similar to my love for Beauty School on Diamond Eyes.

I got so excited when I saw the Maryland Heights date but then I realized that wasn't in Maryland.

I saw them on the DE tour but missed them when they came during KNY. It'll be cool to see em play some of the stuff from Gore and this album. Hoping for a Rosemary inclusion in the setlist.

I saw them with Avenged Sevenfold And Ghost in 2013, which was the first time I had ever heard Deftones before. When they played 7 words and Engine no. 9 they went fucking ape shit.

Never saw these guys live before but if I were going to, it would have been right after Diamond Eyes

Twas a good tour. Would have liked seeing them in the SNW era as well. My brother did but I was too young at the time.

Seen these guys live 20+ times from the beginning.

Always worth it.
