until the vocals come in

yeah they should have just ended the song on a fadeout

the reason i don't have this rated higher than a 4 is that many of these songs are reworked from the previous ep and some of the vocal lines are out of place

if they had expanded on this sound it would have been a classic

They really could have continued this and become something truly great and innovative. Then they became another number in the machine. :/

I started with Language in early 2016 and just listened to this a few days ago.

As expected it is quite different and a good bit heavier, but i absolutely love the melodic sections, which are very post rockish. Especially Flourish's calmer section is incredibly emotional and uplifiting

Yup... in Flourish, you just have to sit back and listen in aww as your ears are having an intense orgasm... or you can just headbang your ass off, that works too

I'm also not the biggest fan of how they reintroduce the heavy section again towards the end, it seems quite forced to me. I'm always hesitant to show a track like this to friends because of things like that

First time I heard the middle section to Flourish I dropped everything I was doing and just stood there like a deer in headlights. Pretty sure my soul slipped out my body at some point.

I had a similar experience, shit was so captivating. Shame that nobody else really has this sound and these guys only did it here

True, that is kinda strange. Everyone copied Planetary Duality and The Discovery but they didn't think to copy this

I always complain about deathcore not going in this direction after 2009, but on the other hand I love how one of a kind this album is.

"if we play the same deathcore as everyone else but we just play it like it's out of tune, one day, one guy on sputnik will say it's the most creative deathcore he's ever heard"
