See here's my thing. Saturday Nigh Wrist has some really beautiful pieces. Beware, Xerces, and Riviere are so excellent. But the whole damn thing is bogged down by shitty "heavy" songs. Rats! and Combat are super annoying and Pink Cellphone is obnoxious and destroys the vibe of the album.

What the hell the heavy songs on this are some of the best, awesome riffs abound and Chino's vocals are so off the wall insane I love it
Also Pink Cellphone isn't even bad, gets way too much hate.
Album is best Deftones and brings out the best in their usual palette of sounds.

Heavy tracks on S/T are better than the heavy tracks here in my mind. Combat is great though that 'say something else' part is one of the best deftones moments. I dont see how anyone could enjoy Pink Cellphone other then pretending to like it to look quirky and hipster lol
