on christmas my uncle was talking about music and mentioned Talking Heads and I said I love Talking Heads and he was like no way how do you know who Talking Heads are and I said I’ve known them for a few years and Remain In Light is one of the best albums ever and he was like wow that’s amazing that you know them, you should play it right now so I put this album on and a minute in he was like this isn’t what I thought it was and made me turn it off

Coming in here just to say I had no idea ‘Road to Nowhere’ was by TH and my wife said she thinks Razorlight might’ve been influenced by it…

I was very confused, but did some research and yeah it turns out she’s actually correct, wtf?! I haven’t heard that era, don’t think I ever will based on this evidence!

(I have vague memories of the song, just surprised there’s a connection and shocked it’s by TH tbh).
