New album should top this one. This record is a bit overrated to be completely honest. It was like the most acclaimed album of the year 10/10s everywhere. #1 on every aoty list. 90 something score on metacritic. It's in rolling stones top 200 albums oat list etc etc. Its not THAT good lol. But of course its kendrick so mfs nut in their pants over everything he does

agreed that it's overrated Em. it's fallen off a cliff for me, borderline unlistenable at times, great elsewhere, but as a whole I never return to it.

nah this album is awesome. tracks 1-5 is a crazy run and then there’s also Pride and Fear which are amazing

I mean it's good forsure is it a modern day MASTERPIECE and one of the albums of the generation that it gets called endlessly by tons of ppl I deff dont think so. Albums come out all the time that sound exactly like this but it's a kendrick album so it's going to get overblown. It doesn't hold a candle to gkmc and tpab
