This new song How You Doing or whatever the fuck it's called is just bland and unmemorable imo. Only heard it once or twice with no desire to go back to it.

I can definitely agree more with the way you used to do being a letdown. I was a bit disappointed with it but so many people seem to think the whole album is doomed. Everything else I've heard has restored my faith.
