I don't get it.
I hear him scream "RUUUUUUUUUN" but the lyrics say "run on girl run on"
Weird...
It's not the first time the lyrics don't really match his screams but this one stands out.

I almost cry when I listen to it.
I hate the fact that I can't really cry, ever.
Only reason I've ever cried in my life was when I had an arguement with my dad.
Even when I was right (most of the time) I just got too fucked up and started crying.
Yeah you don't care ok but point is, I really want to cry with Jane Doe.

You tell me. Listen to a song with the lyrics pulled up and it doesn't sound right. That's not to say they aren't the lyrics, they just don't seem to fit right.

I actually think the printed lyrics are right most of time, since on later albums it's fairly easy to follow along while listening, just more rah-ish screaming on this album.

The lyrics are right, but not always in order.

Especially their earlier albums seem to focus on fractured poetry, where key phrases from Jacobs poems are lifted out/repeated while others are omitted or changed slightly

like in their old song Downpour the first half of the lyrics are like this

My faith runs thinner than water

for every wish had a name and every heart had a fracture

With every fear there was someone, somwhere

who loved before, who hoped before

Someone who cried out ten thousand oceans

and someone who bled out the evening in search of you

but they are said something like this

My faith runs thinner than water

for every wish had a name

someone,

who loved before, who hoped before

who bled out [the?] ocean[s] in search of you

the two last lines in the real lyrics are mixed into a new single line

does anyone else feel like "Bitter and then Some" is to "Heaven in her Arms" what "Concubine" is to "Fault and Fracture"?
