yeah....but more on casual and impressed listen (meaning very few listens on Fire and Shrines). This one made me go back through the discog heavily/ properly cause I was not getting this "hype", I'm glad I did it ;)

BDM is a long shot for me (though who doesn't love them a little old school Suffocation?) but it's always nice to hear from fans about bands putting out quality stuff/possibly their best work years into their career.

Ok so this is way more melodic and way less chaotic and dissonant than their earlier stuff, so it's easier to take in
but so much better than their earlier stuff? not so sure yet

I listened to DS once and can confirm that it wasn’t irredeemably awful. The thought of Trif checking them gave me an uncontrollable laughing fit however.

@Xfing, yeah what Shadow said. People like me who struggled to get into this band seem to like it best but I completely understand the crowd that feels EiF or Destroyers or Shrines is and always will be tops and that this is just different and awesome but not actually better.
