I accidentally heard a song on the radio a couple of times so that must be the 'only single' you speak of. Once this happened I couldn't avoid having an opinion (wasn't that impressed) but initially my intention was to avoid it completely until the album was released. It's not like I'm going to decide not to buy it & hearing one track out of context isn't always beneficial.

The way you used to do is a solid tune, I fucking despise the production though. Shit direction to go in after this album

The production was my main gripe with it, which seems to be a fairly standard opinion around these parts. Then again I wasn't that enamoured with My God Is the Sun initially & now it's an enjoyable song (not amongst the best on here though).

I pretty much loved My God is the Sun the first time I heard it. The shitty production is my only big problem with the way you used to do, so I think that one gets a little too much hate. I still have high hopes for the new album

I saw a comment on 'The Way You Used to Do' that went something like 'Did hiring Mark Ronson cost so much that they couldn't afford cymbals?'

Pretty fuckin accurate

Yeah fr, reminds me of the some of the limp dicked production on era vulgaris but even thinner sounding

Ronson was an odd choice.

^ nice

Yeah hopefully Ronson doesn't ruin the album, but I don't think Josh will let him.

I just had to 5 this. I always thought SFTD would be the first queens I'd 5 but damn there's not a song on here that's less than great.

The new album will be fine. The Evil Has Landed is being played live and it's fucking epic https://youtu.be/nrb5-biMWO4

The Way You Used To Do has actually kinda grown on me. Can't really touch anything on here, but it's a fun song.

I've been trying not to listen to it, hoping that it'll improve exponentially in the context of an album.

I'll bet it does.

What a lot of people already said on here:
My God Is The Sun as first single off of this was terrible, but it fits so well on the record.

I can't imagine My God Is The Sun being terrible at any point in time tbh

I didn't ever think it was terrible but remember being underwhelmed initially, for sure.
