@avonbarksdale221 aight man, thanks, I had a lot of fun on the site so far, cheers
@Mongi123 How To Dissapear Completely really blew me away the first time I heard it, I think that song
and Motion Picture Soundtrack are both perfect soundtracks for depression, that helplessness I guess.
but of course the whole album fits the idea like no other

@DazSkunk Yea dude definitely my favorite song on Kid A. It's just perfect. It's kinda cool how the strings toward the end kinda turn to chaotic as if your losing sight of reality, but suddenly snaps back.
|
| |
@Mongi123 that song really gave me the chills, my mood became really heavy the first time I heard it, I nearly broke down crying
I also felt that way with Climbing Up The Walls from OK Computer, with the chaotic ending and thom yorke's scream, really chilling.

Optimistic and how to disspear are my favorite, both songs are powerful and intense
|
| |
yeah Optimist rules

The synth that comes in about 3 minutes into the title track is pure bliss.

@Mongi, when the strings and Thom's voice detach from one another, then come soaring back is perfection.

I honestly can't stress how perfect that song is. I must have listened to it 5 times today haha. And the whole album is bliss.

Let's be honest, the whole thing is pretty bleak. Treefingers is the only real respite.
