No band has ever scratched the same itch that Anberlin does

Going through TBA discog and love the first three, but now I’m at Happiness Is and I’m just stalling out. New again, tbs and happiness is aren’t bad, but just feel interchangeable and I’m struggling to get through the rest.

I might hop over to these guys for a bit, take a TBS break so I hear it with a fresher ear. Just feel like I need something that rocks out a little more than these three tbs. guess I’ll start debut with these guys as well.

Actually I’m gonna start with the 2nd album then go back to the debut, wanna make sure I get a good impression and doesn’t seem like they’re debut is supposed to stand out like some.

Both are great. New Surrender is really the only low point and it's still pretty good

Cool.started with Never Take Friendship Personally and really liking so far. But I’ll post my thoughts on that album thread when I spin it enough to formulate.

Was talking to someone earlier today and they used the word alexithymia and it made me remember the song. Low key the verse lyrics are actually pretty good (minus "conversate"), it's too bad the chorus is not good lyrically
