they don't acknowledge them as riffs because of the way they are put together, this album is just as melodic as anything else they listen to, but of all the people on this thread trebor has the worst taste in music by far, not even worth the time

the melodies on here are disposable because of how poorly executed they are. it's almost like btbam wanted to make an album that mimicked the piss poor writing of the star wars prequels.

frances the mute is much better in every way. i don't even care for tmv much anymore and i can strongly say that they can set up melody in a prog album much better than btbam.

"the melodies on here are disposable because of how poorly executed they are."
-the "it's a must these days, colors are fading" part of Foam Born B
-the chorus of Informal Gluttony
-all the "floating towards the sun parts" of Sun of Nothing
-the main melody-riff in Ants of the Sky that first appears in the middle and comes in again at the end, with even more power and intensity
-the main riff, and ending vocal part with that dude from Fear Before in Prequel to the Sequel
-all of Viridian
-all the refrains in White Walls
you honestly think those are all "poorly executed"?

@potato, I made it, I don't really care about your approval but it has King of Carrot Flowers, Two headed boy, the title track and an electric guitar version of holland 1945, its pretty cool man!
