I actually downloaded it but haven't listened yet. Next time I'm in a Martyr Mood I'll give it a listen.

Martyr is their most simplistic guitarwork lol how can you be a fan of that and call O God a monotonous riff fest.
Not hating on Bless the Martyr. It fucks gud bby.

I don't know. I simply don't know. Just opinions.

Well Get Low I hope your O God opinion gets an update, I really can’t agree with any part of your critique. It’s the most technically complex album they’ve ever written, following the time changes the first time through is pretty difficult especially on Vertabraille and Charactarantula. And you can’t tell me Disconnecktie isn’t an awesome post-metal-esque track

I disagree.
It is good but Wrongdoers and Polar Similar were amazing.

no way, they compromised what made them successful in the first place with some lame ass clean breakdowncore you can find on hot topic (although they kinda started to trend towards that on this). sure they still have tons of good moments as well
this album is just so freaking pissed

Bless the Martyr was primal, raw and uncompromising. O' God was technically proficient and has the best and most complex riffs. This is great but aside from The Anti-Mother it is my least listened to NJ. Meridional is also good but Wrongdoers and Polar Similar are both excellent.

I can't believe it literally took me years to dive into this band's earlier catalog

Album Rating: 4.5
and I can't even decide which I like most since all their material rules
even Wrongdoers sounded better than what I remembered
