It's a solid 6/10 for me. Very 'ok'. Nice to listen to.
Dead Asleep gotta be a 5/10.

Fair enough. Dead Asleep is near the bottom for me on here but it could be.....wait for it........wait for it......a 'sleeper'?

lmao, I certainly hope so. Most of their 10+ minute songs have SOMEthing worth coming back to.

Mock setlist for Fall tour later this year when they play this bad boy in its entirety. They try not to play songs that they've played in relatively recent times so keeping that in mind:
Set 1:
The Root of All Evil
The Looking Glass
Lie
Ytse Jam
This Dying Soul
Blind Faith
The Best of Times
Set 2:
In The Arms of Morpheus
Night Terror
Broken Man
Dead Asleep
Midnight Messiah
Are We Dreaming?
Bend The Clock
The Shadow Man Incident
Pull Me Under
Breaking All Illusions
Encore:
A Change of Seasons
Would you guys be happy with this set?

A change of Seasons as the encore haha. That’s longer than some bands’ entire sets. I can respect it though.

Nah that's too much music, skip the encore

their 'evening with' tours are 3 hours long

I know, I've seen it. But I think it's just too much. 2,5 hours is more than plenty.

Just gave this album another full spin and I am still in love with it. Such a fun album to jam.

Yeah, their encores have been 20-30min this tour, Change of Seasons isn't out of the question (though it all depends on if James feels like singing it I guess).
I think it'll be something like
Set 1: 6-8 songs adding up to ~50 minutes
Set 2: All of Parasomnia (they're sure to end the concert with Shadow Man)
20-30 min encore
That's 2.5 hr and par for the course for their evening with concerts
As for what they'd play in the first set... I like Titan's recs lol I'm hoping greatly for something from SDIOT and Black Clouds for sure

The Portnoy/Petrucci harmonies were definitely a missing ingredient in the Mangini era and that moment displays that very well. Gave me chills the first time I heard it yet it's so simple.

@titan i'd be very happy with that set assuming labrie is good to sing them. i'm not sure they'd do a change of seasons if they're already gonna be doing shadow man tho

@peartnoy
agreed, that part is most definitely chill inducing hook line sinker......also, Jordan shines (on Bend The Clock) with the piano behind the verses - subtle yet so effective
