This is cool but does anyone think the drums sound weird and plasticy?

Camcorder is dope. Love the sludgy imperial march of the intro guitars and drums. Don’t know how else to describe that

The more I listen to this the more I'm convinced this is just as good as their debut. Crazy good album indeed! Adding .5 to the score

The drums are played on an electronic kit.

“What is chat and how do you get a pile of it.”

It’s piles of rock waste along the highways, more common in that region. Basically ugly remnants of mining operations

Kinda wish the production was a bit beefier now, I had to crank the volume for this to be loud enough in the car and everything else was a fair amount louder. The murkiness suits it but ironically it’s just a bit quiet for a primarily noise rock record

This album is actually produced way louder than their previous one. You must have faulty speakers or something because this is loud af haha

guitars for sure lack the punch of their first record and even the EPs. I do think the murkier production suits the record but I still miss those fucking massive tones

there’s a widget you can add to your control center on iphone that tracks the current db level of your music. i’m listening with the volume bar well below halfway and it’s 78db. you should never listen to music above 80db

I generally listen to music as loud as my speakers go before they start cracking like a campfire

admittedly I was just playing the YouTube uploads so maybe they’re quieter for some reason but this was about 20% quieter than deftones, isis, Devin Townsend everything else I was listening to so I had the terrible inconvenience of having to turn up the volume knob

Kinda feels like a mix of Black Midi and Korn lmfao
