Played half of this earlier and it sounded pretty tight, certainly showing maturity since their debut. Idk how much I’m gonna end up liking it in the long run but I’m looking at a sea of 5/5s and left scratching my head just a little. Hype sucks! Gonna give it a full front to back fair chance later tn

Nothing gonna dethrone this as aoty unless like… trophy scars drops a surprise double album. Or maybe a second nothing and full of hell collab that reallllllly capitalizes on that potential instead of an entire album that sounds like it’s building to a climax that never fully happens. or if frank turner remembers how to write songs again and drops an album.
If you’re close to Baltimore or Richmond pg99 pretty regularly does one off charity shows and they’re an amazing live act.

yeah, MS is a cut above most but also doesn’t skram v hard really, a lot of post hxc / rock and just a flava of their screamo roots. Absolutely fantastic album tho
My personal fave is Vi Som’s “Det onda. Det goda. Det vackra. Det fula.”
This was a strong first listen, so looking forward to diving back in
