Its a pretty big disappointment following Godless Prophets. Wouldn't say it's their worst tho

I saw them live last weekend. They played songs from their whole career including Sadist Nation, an epitaph, sound the surrender, Convalescence, Doomsayer, Goddess of War, Give Me Something to Die For. Brian fair was there (playing in overcast), Nick hippa (playing in god forbid), and Ken susi.

Pretty mediocre album. I don't think anything these guys have put out since Deliver Us has been great. I didn't mind Human Romance, and Self-Titled had a couple of bangers, but they weren't great by any means. Bless John Henry, he's still out here being a pretty savage vocalist - and this album has some outstanding vocal performances.

Ultimately I can't say this is better than 2.5. It's "fine." Since Parrish left the band, they simply haven't had the "fury" they were known for in their heyday. Orbin is probably "objectively better" as a drummer, but Parrish brought a certain je ne sais quoi to DH that, imo, they have been lacking since his departure.
