3. QOTSA the same after SftD, but at least have released "...Like Clockwork", not only a couple good tracks per album.

I’m with you in that it’s been downhill for both Mastodon and QOTSA after those two albums (I consider their best albums)
I’ve never liked any Biffy Clyro but they’re consistently what they are so you might be right that they’re consistent in quality - I know not

1. Biffy have been garbo since puzzle onwards
2. BM is hands down mastodon's peak and they never came close to it afterwards, but H & G was great and so was that one ep they did
3. Like Clockwork is one of the best QOTSA although my fave is prolly rated r or s/t

s/t sounds like a load of Kyuss b-sides with homme's least confident vocal performance and half-baked songwriting top to bottom. definition of a hiding-behind-ur-guitar record (though we like a craft motorik) - that shit is Villains-tier, absolute chore to hear end to end
