I just listened to a couple August Burns Red tracks and yeah I think the comparison is apt. If that offends people for some reason Idk what to say? I don't rly know shit about either band but I'm just not into this style in the slightest and it's almost entirely because of the vocals for me

Yeah idk what to tell you, when someone says the singles aren't indicative of the album's sound I don't just assume "oh they're prob full of shit and it's basically more of the same" so I gave it a fair shake and didn't enjoy my time with it. No great loss for me. I see you have albums 1'd, 1.5'd, and 2'd and I sincerely doubt you went into some of those expecting anything good

I don't dislike hardcore or metalcore, I'm just not into this singer. I literally said that when people told me I should check out the album regardless so yes I expected something a bit different. And I did not download it just to shit on it, some people said it was good so I checked it on that merit. God forbid anyone ever engage in discussion about something they dislike. Damn, do I miss being able to download dozens of albums off media fire. That site got me into so many bands I'm still into it this day. I know file-sharing is still a thing but streaming is so much more convenient if it's not super obscure or a video game ost.



On topic the leak was literally posted in the last albums thread and this isn't even that long an album. It's so easy to listen to music too. I'm doing the HIL discography while playing the halo trilogy atm.
