I will say I jammed Section 80 for the first time in a while the other day and tbh I think its kinda gotten overrated a bit??? Like it's a 4 for sure but he isn't close to the rapper he is on gkmc and beyond and its really noticeable to me, some really elementary bars on there

kendrick is not the godsend rapper that he's hyped up to be right now. but he's really good and this album seems to be absolutely up to par with his past albums. i think it's definitely better than DAMN and probably even gkmc (which to me is like 35% trash songs)

yeah tbh I don't say this much but I think GKMC is overrated. It's still a great album, but I don't think it's the timeless masterpiece it's often purported to be. There's a lot on that record that is either filler or hasn't aged the best

If I was going purely on the quality of every song than DAMN would be my favorite for sure, love basically everything on that album
Both gkmc and tpab are much greater than the sum of their parts tho, like I wouldn't jam the majority of either of those albums in isolation but as complete pieces it's some transcendent shit
