"P2 will probably get a remaster so you guys will get your wish. But that album being unlistenable just because of the current mix, just fucking NO."

"Colors production terrible, Tommy too low in mix,"

That's exactly my problem with P2's production. Great album but his harsh vocals are way too high in the mix to the point they kinda drown everything else out.

P2 has a ton of other problems besides production

I'm honestly super sad at how down you are on the album Alex, was totally expecting you to have the opposite reactions

Nah it's still like a 4.2/5, that's just the main thing holding it back for me

P1 and P2 were my entry to BTBAM so I have a super soft spot for them.

P2 might not be BTBAM's best, but it has Silent Flight Parliament so I'm not sure how anyone can disregard it.

Tommy's vocals have consistently gotten better with age.

"so is this album so far"

A rare time I've agreed with Johnny about a band like this haha. I saw another comment a page back where the person said they outgrew this type of music. Basically me. Twenty-something year old me loved Alaska/Colors, but this isn't re-capturing any nostalgia I had for the band all those years ago. Now I just find this boring.

Unfortunately I have to agree with this review. They've delved deep south into corky-cute and dorky prog territory. No memorable hooks; underwhelming chorus and melodies, plus predictable off turns, albeit maintaining intact their skill prowess on this lengthy pandemic rainbow.

Memorable hooks? I could sing the chorus of Revolution in Limbo, Bad Habits, and Human is Hell after the first listen.
