When i first got really into got album a few years ago, there was a week where 3 times my gf came home from work and i was cranking only skin on the living room speakers. She is a huge joanna fan but was like... you have to stop. Too intense for post work/pre dinner music

maybe i'm a boomer but I still have a massive collection of digital music that I keep adding to. I don't use my ipod anymore but I still manually load music on to my phone. techincally an artist gets more money if I listen to them on spotify rather than stealing their music, but it's like pennies that they get in royalties from spotify. i give artists my money directly when I think their art is good.

I honestly don't even know if I could add pirated music to my Iphone. They're pretty stupid about not allowing anything other than their proprietary crap to be allowed on their products.

Spotify has the most content in one place. They don't pay artists enough? Neither do record labels. I'm not a fan of it, but I'm just a broke af consumer lol; I'll take convenience and reasonable pricing where I can get it.
