Love the transition of Keel Timing into Bedhead.
Love this on first listen but it’ll be hard to top Black Mile. I consider that to be top 3 albums of the past decade.

Black Mile is one of those albums that just never gets old. That transition of The Alien into The Sunshine into The Grocery just blows me away every time.

I never really got into Black Mile; after listening through this I need to give Black Mile another spin or 5. Also hot damn Andy's voice sounds so good on this whole album but especially the closer.
|
| |
I may or may not bother with this.
|
| |
The falsetto he pulls out on Way Back is money

I like this, but I do feel as though they attempted to add a modicum of restraint which may have been counter-productive. The ‘hold nothing back’ cinematic and melodramatic sound from Black Mile suits them.

Can we talk about how amazing Obstacle is
I've been waiting like a month

I love the build up with the gentle guitar strumming and to the drum beat, and im obsessed with the last portion of the song from when he sings:" In the light, you arrive, as the curtain closes
Intertwined and attached to his soul
There were not any sermons to speak
There was goodbye and hello"

Annie and Telepath probably have the best lyrics and they're the two that grew on me the most.

After two listens, Angel of Death is def in the conversation for best song. And honestly Bedhead is pretty great. Love Obstacle, and feel like The Internet is pretty underrated here. Great song.
