I wasn't big on this album from the start. I dig Mars Simula and Ghost & Razor right now, but that's about it. Comes down more to personal taste though, I generally prefer the heavier stuff from Chevelle that was showcased on the last two albums

this has dropped off for me and completely dropped out of my rotation a few days after release but id still probably like it if i jammed it. definitely my least favorite album of theirs vocally which holds back some of these songs a loot (the textures n shit on endlessly are really goddamn nice but pete sounds so weird that it irks me for pretty much the entire song) and definitely makes me less inclined to replay this against the many other albums where he sounds incredible
