This is honestly my favorite of their recent output. Extremely listenable in a lot of different moods, it grew on me like crazy in the year after its release.

I thought most of this worked better than A-Z as a possibly more 'accessible' version of Fates normal material. Songs like Scars, Liar, and Glass Houses are pre straightforward hard rocky metal tracks and are way better than anything on the new project

I admit I was concerned just because he composed a lot of Ray's previous solo album, too, and it was good but not great. This song is definitely better.

If I remember correctly Matheos didn't intend to make the last few albums either, so I guess he toyed with the idea for a while. And now there is The Last Song, so I guess he is really serious about it this time
