These are just bad harsh vocals imo, but a black metal band can easily get away with it it seems, where something like a metalcore band would NEVER be able to. Not really trying to prove anything with it, it's just something that caught my attention, because I haven't heard anyone saying the vox are bad or something

You saw them live Beardog? they have a really cool stream gig on YT. Maybe you see how the vocals are intended and performed immaculately.

I think the vox sound like they intend them to sound
They have more of a "diseased" quality to them instead of the intensely violent and hate filled vocals we mostly hear in extreme metal

I am liking it for sure. I think the debut is still slightly better but they write some interesting / catchy stuff. They're a pretty fun band overall.
