[2] this, except Boston Manor isn't even a metalcore band at all. they're a pop-punk band. the only things they have in common with TDWP is that they both have singing, guitars, bass, and drums.

Some of this album kind of reminds me of Landon Tewers ai640 eps. Bad Omens consists of predictable and uninteresting songwriting, even if it is super catchy.



Sure, this is still metalcore and has a metalcore sound to it obviously but there's a lot of experimental/unique songwriting and structure on here that imo stands out pretty significantly. Ain't nobody saying they rewriting the playbook but 'standard' or 'generic' are insults that seem pretty baseless to me.
