Was jamming Melt-Banana earlier and realised their track Flash Cube, Or Eyeball is basically a 3-min distillation of all this album's good qualities and none of its awful ones

Well Melt Banana also has a certain knack towards guitar theatrics and crazy sounds but that's the only similarity I can hear. Based on your review it sounds like thats the only aspect of Car Bombs sound that you appreciate so that makes sense.
