Yeah that could be it. I mean, the only album of theirs I rate above a 4 is Vol. 3, while I have Iowa and s/t at 3.5s, but I’m shocked by how low their albums are just in general.



I’m especially shocked at Iowa’s avg since so many consider that to be their first. I think the new album may be getting rated so highly partly because it’s good, but also because it’s so much better than their last two and nobody was expecting it to be as good as it is.

Not when Unsainted is on the same album

Unsainted is straight up garbage. It's a Stone Sour song. I haven't listened to the rest of the album yet, too much better shit to listen to first, but if it's like that song, I'm going to give this a hard 2.

Also 0.5 sucked BAD. this band hasn't made exciting music since 2001.

always wanted them to go into more of a straight up metal direction, but of course that'd be career suicide and theyd lose money probably and radio play, and they dont have the balls to do it.

@Eon the good part is that Unsainted is the outlier track and thankfully the rest of the album sounds nothing like that.
