That's why I never liked Roseanne.

On a more serious note, reccing Prelude as a first contact point is still pretty bad when trying to convey why people love this band. It rips, yeah, but it fails to showcase the jazzy bits that make them special (there's some of that, ofc). Hearing all that Suffo worship doesn't leave that strong of a first impression, and I'm glad it wasn't the first I heard of them.

I will say if I didn't first hear The Enduring Spirit first, decent chance I would have bounced off this band because the production (intentional or not) is a bit rough on those earlier albums.

Like I get they're going for that early vintage death metal sound but sometimes I wanna be able to like, hear the instruments over the mud lol
