El Alpha, Las Gorras and Strathos is one hell of a run.

The closing two tracks for me, probably. But there are a ton of fantastic stretches.

its changed quite a bit for me, for instance Lazaro grew on me a whole lot now I think is one of their best songs, though my number one has always been Senor Mora

The closing one-two punch is superb, just different. I love the contrasting styles on here, yet it all contributes to a cohesive whole.

last track has got to be my least favorite I think, I mean it's allright I just can't seem to love it like the rest of the songs and is probably my least fave closer of theirs as well

hummm I agree with Demon, these guys throw some more expansive post vibe on last tracks, making this much more remarkable at a broader spectrum.

Last two are amazing and really expand on their sound. It demonstrates how multi-faceted they have become. Inorefer their balance of those songs with more aggressive numbers as it really makes an entire experience.

I think what bothers me of Defenestra are Fernando's vocals at the beginning which seem kinda odd, and I find that strange since he gives his best performance to date on some of these tracks, I also feel like it drags a bit could have been cut short 3 min and been more effective. Other than those complaints I think it's a good song and a fitting to this record and all those claustrophobic feelings it evokes, lyrics are some of my favorites too, I wouldn't argue if folks told me this is their favorite Joliette song, it's still quite an achievement

To 5 an album is embracing it while knowing all its flaws, on us. So, love to that!

I quite nearly gave this a 5 as well, if not for the emergence of WRVTH.

Maybe we're all collectively in denial that this is a 5 and we're trying to convince ourselves not to
