tbqh zak was entirely right about this. it's wank - just, wank in a genre(s) that might not normally be associated with that descriptor as often. i don't really think the album knows what it's trying to even be, and the best parts of it sound very familiar. not to the point of me calling them hacks but definitely reminiscent in an unsatisfying way. conceptually it's a mess, and reminds me of bands I'd rather listen to. shrug
