the song's okay, I'm not really understanding the acclaim for it. feels like no one wants to say Whelan was as much an influence on Bissell as vice versa and it's all so meandering and aimless without Kevin's pop sensibilities keeping it together. ugh why'd they have to implode so spectacularly
