"and he claimed that BMTH needed to explore pop music cuz in that community people doesn't care about how heavy and fast the music could be"
"He usually contradicts himself and tbh he is just bitter due to the backlash that bmth suffered since the myspace era; I mean we get oli, you can't handle criticism and metal purist hated you on the internet but move the fuck off bitch"
i mean i kinda understand this tbh if youre relentlessly shit on in one community for everything you do why try and cater to them when a different demographic is much more welcoming of what you want to do

I never liked Sykes and his boyish screams always made the cringe a little, but BMTH have some seriously great tunes.

This is actually pretty good (overall). It’s all over the place, but it’s varied and never boring. Fresh Bruises and Mother Tongue, arguably the two worst tracks on the album and situated one after the other, really breaks some momentum though.
This is mostly in line with TTS for me, but no songs on this reach the heights of Doomed, Drown or maybe even Throne.

Okay I’ve officially overplayed this for myself. Some tracks are growing off me. Final track rating:
I apologize if you feel something: 4
Mantra: 3.5
Nihilist Blues: 4
In the dark: 2 (liked this track a lot at first but the Ed Sheeran similarity just irks me to no end now)
Wonderful Life: 3.3 (brought down a bit by the awful Dani feature)
Ouch: 4
Medicine: 4
SHI&T: 3 (fuck that chorus)
Why you gotta kick me when I’m down: 3.5 (another track brought down by the chorus)
Fresh Bruises: 4
Mother Tongue: 4
Heavy Metal: 3 (could be better if the track varied more)
I don’t know what to say: 4
