Good bump lads. Very stoked for Halloween Kills as well, though bummed it got pushed back a whole YEAR.

@goblin I would just search Spotify for those keywords, I’m sure there are some good playlists out there for ya

True that, I've watched practically his whole filmography this past year. Recently snagged this on blu-ray, gonna watch it this Saturday for the first time since the theater. I really liked it but remember the soundtrack being my favorite part.

"Best halloween movie in a while"

Very low bar lol. This movie was a decent return to form tho. Not amazing but decently fun

H1, 2018, H4, H6 and H20 are the only ones I come back to. H6 is pretty trash but I find it entertaining.

The movie sucks for the same reason Force Awakens sucks.

This score though, mmm mmm mmm

The very first 3 and 2018 are great, 4 is pretty good, 5 is meh and 6 is bad but has some great kills from what I've seen.

H20 is the second best Halloween movie and I will die on that hill. This movie is decent but I feel like my expectations were WAY too high so I was a bit let down. Gonna be rewatching it tonight to cap off my series marathon so hopefully I enjoy it more this time around.

H6 is pretty trash but I find it entertaining. [2]
that movie is so bad that it circles back around to being wildly entertaining for me. Honestly one of the most fun in the series to watch

This was great, the best Halloween movie besides the original, and the trailer for H Kills was indeed exciting so I have high hopes for the sequel. Very happy to get another original Carpenter score for it too.

one of the best filmmakers ever. i'd love to see something new from him in my lifetime.

Yeah, the last movie he did was that Asylum one which was alright.

Problem is Carpenter is getting old and he has said he no longer has much of an interest in film making anymore because of the way Hollywood treated him in the past. Not to mention he has recently become obsessed with making music.

true. he will occasionally tease a new film idea every once in a while, such as Darkchylde, Escape From Earth, and the western with Amy Adams. I think nowadays he could do something independent with full creative control through something like Blumhouse or A24.

He could easily fundraise an indy movie and fans would absolutely pour money into it. On that I have no doubt.
