I think Fates has the advantage because even though they have less b(r)and recognition, they have a much more dedicated cult fanbase, kind of like what Steven Wilson and DT have built over the years. On the other hand I think all the drama (and the lack of great music) surrounding Queensryche has tarnished their image even though random people are more likely to recognize them and their songs.

It's like how I've seen BTBAM pack a mid-size venue while I've seen Tantric (who sold a million albums and had a hit single) play to 40 people in a smallish club.

Wrong band is opening. [3]

And yes OmairSh, your present day ratio is correct. I know Teamster remembers when the ryche had an 80% share though...

They were boss

Can't believe this album is under 4 on here.

"Hand on Heart" and "One and Only" are the only tracks on here that aren't 10/10 Queensryche. Of those, I honestly consider Best I Can, Jet City Woman, Della Brown, Another Rainy Night, T/T and Anybody Listening all top-tier QR in general.

"One of the more interesting songs on the album, it really gets old after awhile due to the repeating riff throughout the song that never gets much of a change up through the song. The lyrics are appealing in an interesting sense, i'm not sure what they're actually about but are worth lookin' up."

Also, ^ that is just awesome.

If Empire is a sellout album, i'd like tons of similar sellout sauce in my sandwich, please!

I love this band. I don't see them as prog tbh, they're mire like super catchy heavy metal with some progressive/art rock tendencies (and had a massive influence on orog metal), but that shit doesn't matter imo. The Warning, Operation: Mindcrime and this are nothing less than 4.5s imo. I wished The Warning had better production though, the songs rule.

How are you going to leave out Rage For Order? Easily my favorite Queensryche release (but they're all awesome through Promised Land).

I can easily leave our Rage For Order, because I haven't listened to it yet :D Same for Promised Land. They're in my list though
