They're not supposed to be in depth lyrics they're literally just pastiches of more complex social critiques in a shouty - easily repeatable way - sometimes they are a bit dodge though true
Also if you mean bad cos they trigger you lol

Love how as soon as artists get political their lyrics suddenly need to be academic dissertations considering every possible nuance of a particular issue. I do think there are some corny lines on this thing though (even some of the lines I like).

i think being very on the nose and digestible with your message is a pretty common hallmark of punk

Tr00 punx have been knocked in the head too many times to grasp anything but broad concepts like "fuck the government" and "racism sucks"

still have no idea what's going on with that swagger in joe's voice during "cry to me" but i love every moment of it nonetheless.

The opener to this is cool for sure, some Daughters vibes. Maybe this is growing a bit.

never been big on the punk genre, but i can see where the ratings comin from. albums solid.
the cliche lyricism and platitudes kinda ruins it for me thou, ye we get it "its not serious reeee, but maybe it is after all reee". also im sick of unreflected leftist agenda in todays age, and theres plenty of it here, but w/e its punk after all right (right?). for the amount of attention the lyrics get on this album, i found them pretty bland tbh. tons of regurgitated topics, ye we alrdy heard that a gazillion times boys.
instrumentally i guess im just more the shape of kinda guy, needs more punch and bite to it. was a bit dissapointed after the promising opnener tbh, some songs seem downright lazy.
the covers gold btw

yea because "muh brexit" is the only leftist BS theyre spewing on the record right. stop nitpicking
|

I wouldn’t say it’s a soley leftist agenda more an effort to keep people working, remain senseless and in a state of infancy, praise mediocrity, show disdain for individual thought, contempt for truth, vilify restraint, criminalise opinion, compound difference, neutralise ability to fight back, emote more feel less.

And to the Brits you know Brexit ain’t going to happen right?

What Zak said, but in much less menacing voice.
