This is one of those rare albums that rides the line of "what is this trash" to "man this is a future classic" based on your mood. lol

This is the album that I GUARANTEE you, we will be having all sorts of people on this site and elsewhere pretending in 5-10 years that they were huge fans of immediately, that they 'got it' despite rating it a 1 on here and calling it 'utter shit', etc. I've liked AM for a long time but this is something else, entirely. Hard to even compare it to their earlier work as it feels almost like a different band at times.

nothing on this album keeps me interested for more than 30 seconds at a time, so I guess if it's good I didn't notice it for all the snoring

I like how a corporately created band once again has the word Monkeys.

strange, this is by far their most interesting album to me

Some of their other ‘stronger’ released fell off a bit for me (talking about the first three off course cause AM and SiaS suck hard).

Had to bump it up to 4.5. Too fresh and different, and it's so good.

All I can say is that this is far more tolerable than their first album.

i respect them going dark for 5 years and then returning with an album about a fucking moon hotel

Comparing Alex Turner to Morrissey has ruined my day
