I'd still put Shadow Boxing and Wishing Wells above it, so not sure if I stand by that.

Winston is a 10/10 metalcore vocalist. Shit lyrics, but hey, he smashes.

I have fun with most of this even though it's dumb but Wishing Wells and I Hope You Rot are legit good

He's mentioned it before on this very thread, a few times in fact. He's way pickier than I seem to be.

Meh. I Hope You Rot was the most disappointing song on here for me. With a title like that, I don't expect pseudo-power-metal.

I can look past average lyrics, or even below average. Straight up cringe like this, i cannot, and i will shit on them.

Winston's always been a pretty terrible lyricist

This is more or less purely a lifting album for me so i put 0 stake into these lyrics

A lot of this album's writing feels like standard emotive metalcore lyricism, no better or worse than other bands that tackle similar themes in a similar way. So I'm not seeing it.

I can't afford to be too picky about emotive lyricism.

Fuck, as a perpetual fan of groove and melody, I'm enjoying this more than I should be. Entering guilty pleasure territory...
