Classic thread. I remember reading it in real time before I joined. Probably the reason why i joined the site tbh.

Can't decide which thread about this album is better; this or Snide's (his review).

Is he still posting??? Haven't seen him in a while tbh.

Regarding the subject of the last page, this trend of re-recording old material really needs to die right now tbh. Every day I pray for Kreator so they don't fall into this stupid trend.

Bay Area rapper Paris re-recorded his debut for the remaster of it and it's way better because his flow is tighter and his voice got deeper. That one's pretty awesome for it

I've really never been the biggest fan of these guys.

I like Wretched & Divine and enjoyed bits of the self-titled, but this all feels so standard and generic. To top it off, the fangirls who cream over Andy's attractiveness (I agree he's kinda hot, but jesus christ) are so fucking annoying.

@Ninja: Nah, I have him added on Facebook. Pretty sure he's a lot happier now that he's left the site. He left an impenetrable legacy of infamy here anyway, I don't think he wants to salt the wound much more.

As far as their debut, I could never get into it; also, as far as their follow-up goes, Fallen Angels is probably the worst song I've heard in this genre in years.

lmfao i honestly loved the man

but yeah their sophmore album had some great songs like the Legacy and Smoke and Mirrors and then I agree; Fallen Angels is just horrible.

I've always loved this band though, saw them live back in 2014 too; such an overhated band

Overhated, yeah. But not a lot is above average. Wretched & Divine is a 3.5 but literally nothing else comes close.

Wretched and Divine was quite a decent effort from these guys but they haven't topped that and I don't think they ever will

No way in hell. Honestly W&D was too early for them, they should have waited a while before trying something so grandiose.

They kinda tried the same here but I think this fell flat on its face, whereas W&D actually worked (to an extent). The record before it was pretty cool instrumentation-wise but was ruined by the vocals and just never really got to what it was supposed to be

Yeah, this album really has nothing particularly awful but aside from Dead Man Walking, absolutely nothing stands out. It's probably a 2 apart from that song.

The Last one slaps, but yeah I was super hyped for this coming out as it was a follow up to W&D (my favourite record ever) but this kinda fell flat, even for the fans.. Still a great record, and probably 3rd best in their discography
