"Wtf is wrong with some ppl giving this a 2.5? Obviously trolling. Smh."

Not trolling at all tbh. My beef with this album's shortcomings is well founded. At any rate, wasting time elaborating on that is moot considering the audience.

Am I the only one that finds the production a bit muddy and odd? I mentioned this when the single came out but no one else was talking about it. Maybe they couldn't afford better production. Which if that's the case I can sympathize but I'm only speculating.

I think if the production was less muddy and cluttered these songs would pop more.

The production really wasn't muddy at all? Not sure where you're pulling that from.

Yeah Eons production is fine, right amount of gritty and well balanced imo.

I don't think it sounds right. Can't put my finger on it, though. Sounds muddy to me. Where are you guys listening to the album?

Not trying to sound spoiled or anything but glassjaws next album should be released lesser than 15 years. They got their shit back together along with a damn good new drummer and bassist so their shouldn't be any problem releasing a 4th album in 5 or 6 years.

No idea how this compares to their earlier material but I dig this so far. Also makes me want to start playing bass again

Apparently the drummer is Billy from The Dillinger Escape Plan (well formerly, I guess since band is dead)

Yeah he plays drums on this record. He’s one the of the best parts. Also ugh that vocal production

Vocals sound good. It's everything else that sounds kind of cluttered and muddy. Apparently we are the only ones that noticed the weird production.

I think Beck said they were inspired by mid 90s NYC hardcore/post hardcore records production wise, so at least that sorta explains the production choices. But I can definitely say I prefer the Production of W&T and Coloring Book to this. Bass sounds awesome though.
