Hey Xeno, just out of morbid curiosity, can you give ratings like 0.6, 0.7, etc.? I know you can do 0.1 increments for higher scores, but does it extend all the way down to 0.5?

production isnt the only flaw, they dont have any of the massive moments in this album like the multiple different sections in Tempest where it hits you with an explosion of sound that makes you go "wow.. this is some godly shit", or like the climax in Pyrrhic, or that part in Petrichor... they did it a lot in the previous 2 records and i think this is the weakest point of the record, they give you plenty of time to breath with the slower sections but it oddly doesnt feel like a rest moment... maybe this part is due to the production

Did you make it through the entire album Xeno? Just curious because if something was unlistenable then that must make you a masochist for persevering.

I wouldn't know how to rate something I didn't finish, obviously not highly but maybe not at all, rather just giving it a low score.

I've only heard the debut which I was fairly lukewarm to on first impression.

Well, as for it being unnoticed - probably willfully ignored more than unnoticed, really. Kinda like veil of maya's new album, which I don't even feel compelled to check out at all

New VoM is pretty average, Matriarch is much much better imo, has some nice songs on it though, but its too long
