"I've begun to appreciate it for what it is, being a build-up to the epic conclusion."

"reeetuuuurn to the eaaarth...and if you come down

reeetuuuurn to the eaaarth...so keep on slipping 'til the end of the earth

like a ghost sinking into the ground

keep on slipping 'til the end of the earth now that all this black clouds...keep on raining"

The only one I like is Godspeed. I’ve tried several times to like this and I don’t.

I keep trying to listen to this but I just can't. Lyrically and musically this just feels lazy and uninspired, which is unfortunate, because I know these guys really put their souls into this album. But I just can't get into it.

I really love Exoplanet, but it's starting to sound a bit dated imo, plus a lot of the transitions into the different styles aren't so great imo.

This blows exoplanet away.

This is their best to me. It’s criminally underrated, mature and beautiful.

I really like the calmer, darker vibes and post-rock moments on this. More consistent than Language even tho that has more amazing moments imo

Sorry you aren't contrib anymore Mongi, looks like the mods purged like half of you guys :/

I wasn't part of the decision but my understanding is that contributors get demoted after a year or two of not writing enough reviews anymore.

There should be some kind of junior emeritus status like the staffers get from retirement imo, instead of just going back to being a regular user, especially if they've written like 50+ reviews for the site that represent big albums.

Hmm, this sob has 133 reviews under his belt which is a fuck ton. It appears he only wrote one review in 2017, which I guess ain't enough, but I hope they informed him first...

Edit: Ok so they did not inform him lol
