they actually played that song when they killed it in LA tonight. seeing them live is one hell of an experience, I'd even call it legendary/transcending

@Fear if you don't feel like that section adds much, you're literally missing the point of the song. And in which universe does Dillinger's chromatically-tinged jazz sound like blues? I also take all their transitions with a pinch of salt; most of the best sound awkward in a fantastically jarring way, but if it ain't working for you, it ain't working.

This is a really dumb thing to say because I get what they're going for but it doesn't in anyway mean I have to like it. Many bands have transitions that everyone gets but it's not always going to be everyone's cup of tea.

Liking it and feeling like it adds something to the song are totally different things.

one of my favorite quirks on the album. it sounds like something dimitri would do and leads into the breakdown perfectly

When I hear that beginning rant part in Honeysuckle I picture some type of Disney World/Splash Mountain type of cartoon turmoil brewing, and I just love it

The packaging is simple. The liner notes credited all the members of DEP, past and present, which is a nice touch. Managed to get the limited pressed blue vinyl
