I mean, yeah. I think both albums are fairly derivative, but at least Neon is a lot of fun and the upbeat energy keeps me coming back. I actually really dig Jesse's voice when he's belting chorus hooks, but I'm less drawn to him singing his way though all the moody parts here

I like this too, but definitely see where Pika is coming from. Augment is leaps and bounds better than anything they've put out after. I have this at a 4 but I should probably bump it down to a 3.5 considering there are only a few songs I return to.

Veks - It's still worth checking for sure. It's a good metalcore album, it's just a bit of a letdown considering what they did on Augment to this.

plus they got mad good eps andromeda is an essential and moments of clarity rules hard. andromeda is right before impulse so its still that insane lineup. moments is also their only release w ian on vox who did a much better job filling in garrisons shoes imo
