for all their technical chops my brain is like Suttee snare go ping. First half feels like more classic DS, straight to the point but not without nuance

It’s a belter. Some of their most ‘straight forward’ to the point BDM (lol?) and then a side that sounds like Atheist (what?)
to be fair I dunno if I needed the latter, but it’s pretty good regardless

tried jamming this the other night. first side was awesome but the second side really threw me. didn't finish it. i'll try it again soon - maybe it'll click, now that i know what's coming.
that's funny you said Atheist, Demon, cuz that was the first thing i thought of when the second side started lol. my first impression was that the vocalist was trying wayyy too hard to sound like Shaefer. just my first listen tho
edit: just read up a bit on it, found out it's actually a different vocalist on that side. that makes more sense now lol
