PFFT

I ain't deleting it because I can't take criticism. If that were true my BVB reviews would have gone waaaaaaaay before this one. I was just inquiring seeing as Virtual's review is pretty good. He's gettin some good reps though so he will probs be switched to front soon. No need to delete now.

I'm sure a Contributor or Staff will write a review for this, so that review will become the default.

Sorry I interpreted flag in youtube terms and almost cocked my head in confusion.

Does anyone think that this and Yeezus aren't as tightly produced as his previous efforts? Some of the tracks on here are a bit sloppy, the distortion is over the top as well.

Also, on the review; it doesn't focus enough on the album, you spend too much time talking about Kanye himself, with assumptions like "Kanye is embracing his insanity" that I think are a bit of a leap.

"Does anyone think that this and Yeezus aren't as tightly produced as his previous efforts?"

Uhm well Yeezus, yeah. Yeezus was rushed to a deadline, and it was under-cooked as a result.

Some people think that contributed to the "brilliance" of Yeezus, because it was "spontaneous" or it was raw and in the spirit of punk rock or some bullshit

TLOP is the opposite, at least for me. The production is too clean, too minimalist, too toned-down, and not in an interesting way

Kanye has reached the point where he's following trends instead of setting them.

It was bound to happen eventually

If he was following trends this album would be nothing but trap songs

Maybe considering albums like this and Future and so many others can be released at a seconds notice we need to evolve the rules for when a review can be posted. A 12 or 24 hour rule. It's just a thought.

"Pablo Picasso and Kanye West share many qualities"
